Chris Marquez

Chris graduated from the University of South Florida where he played Division I Tennis from 1989-1993. After college, Chris became a tennis professional at Hunter's Green Country Club and then moved on to the Renaissance Vinoy Resort/Vinoy Club where he worked for four years. In 1998, Chris became the Head Tennis Professional and Director of Player Development at the Palmer Tennis Academy. Traveling and coaching nationally and internationally, Chris worked with players from all over the world and served as a collegiate advisor to the academy students. In addition, while maintaining his duties at the Palmer Academy, Chris coached and traveled on the WTA tour with the top 50 players in the world to Grand Slams and major WTA events. Since 2000, Chris has been the USPTA Head Tennis Professional at the Lakewood Ranch Athletic Center.
