Capital Improvements

Heritage Golf Group is dedicated to enhancing the Member Experience by investing in capital improvements and upgrading the amenities of their clubs. The following section provides an overview of the planned capital improvements that will be implemented over the next few years.

Golf

All four golf courses will undergo capital improvements on a rotating schedule throughout the next few years. Each golf course will be closed for renovation with an anticipated opening based on turf conditions in the fourth quarter of its respective year. All courses will have a complete renovation of their greens and surrounding complexes. There will be additional projects to improve our courses' playing conditions, including drainage, irrigation, bunkers, and tees. The estimated schedule is as follows:

King's Dunes: Full Course Renovation in progress! Estimated reopening Fall 2025.
Royal Lakes: Future renovations in planning stages. Open for play.

Aquatics, Fitness, & Racquet Sports

Beyond the golf courses, major improvements will include enhancements to the club's racquet sports, aquatics and fitness amenities.

Improved pool decking and new pavers, along with additional sunshades, have been added to create the ideal poolside atmosphere.
New LED lighting upgrades and court resurfacing has been added to enhance playability and drainage.
The 24-hour fitness center has been outfitted with new cardio and strength machines, along with additional group fitness equipment.

The Legacy Clubhouse

Lakewood Ranch Golf & Country Club's third full-service clubhouse, The Legacy, is now open with limited Food & Beverage service! A future, a multi-million-dollar renovation is in the planning stages. Once complete, it will feature a full-service restaurant, patio, pro shop, and more.
